We are cutting the last pieces for the bed and finally have a definitive answer on how much more wood we need: not as much as I would have thought about a month ago. We have decided to start with the joining before we go out and get the final bit of maple in case we screw up on the wood we have now and need even more.

I have uploaded some video of our latest session in the shop. We are ripping, cross-cutting and planing some of the last pieces that we had glued-up. These are for the foot board and head board.
